HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE DAY OF MY INSTALL?
1. Please make sure the driveway is clear so our truck can back in to unload your tops
2. Please make sure there is as clear a path as possible to the kitchen
3. Please make sure the counters are empty. If you are taking out the old sink and tops, please make sure that they are out of the way before we arrive.
4. Please take out the top drawers in your base cabinets and remove anything that is in the base cabinets that is on the top shelf or that can’t handle a little sawdust – our installers will clean up after themselves as best they can when they are done, but they will need to be able to lay on their backs to screw the countertops down from underneath.
5. If you have pets, please keep them out of the area where the installers are working and walking back and forth to the truck. We cannot be responsible for pets that get out of the house while tops are being carried in and out during the installation process, and we don’t want them getting hurt by being underfoot.
6. If you are the homeowner and are presented with a final invoice when the install is complete, we would appreciate if you would give your check to our installer.
7. Please remember – we will cut the hole for you new sink and we will seal it with Thompson’s Waterseal. We prefer to have the sink(s) in the shop before the tops are complete.
We do not install the sink or hook up the plumbing.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve you. We hope you enjoy your new countertops for many years to come. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
